Welcome to the case day organized by KPMG and Enklaavi on Wednesday, January 22nd, starting at 1:00 PM. During the event you will tackle real-life challenges associated with the M&A process in a case where DAS is operating as an advisor for PE investor on potential acquisition of an oat based milk substitute product provider.
The case day will begin at 1:00 PM with an introduction to KPMG, followed by the case-solving session, and culminates in a debriefing event. During the debriefing, we’ll review the case solutions, and there will also be pizza, beverages, and an opportunity to mingle with our experts!

Vuoden hauskin ja legendaarisin mäenlaskutapahtuma Liugur on jälleen kerran täällä. Kokoonnutaan yhdessä nauttimaan talven riemuista ja huikeasta menosta. Kaiva pulkat ja liukurit varastosta esiin, lainaa kaverilta tai paikan päältä. Saavu Huhtiniemeen ystäviesi kanssa viettämään vapaa-aikaa mäenlaskun, kisailujen ja kaakaon merkeissä! Tapahtumassa on myös perinteinen kiltojen välinen mäenlaskukisa. Pääsemme myös todistamaan kuka nappaa voiton köydenvetoturnauksessa.
Päivätapahtuma alkaa klo 12 ja kestää aina klo 16 asti. Tämän jälkeen illan viettoa jatketaan YO-talon Kellarissa Vätköillen klo 18-21:30, josta siirrytään Las Palmasiin!

The most fun and legendary sledding event of the year, Liugur, is here once again! Let’s gather together to enjoy the joys of winter and some thrilling action. Grab your sleds and sliders from storage, borrow from a friend, or get one on-site. Head to Huhtiniemi with your friends for an exciting day filled with sledding, competitions, and cocoa! The event also features the traditional sledding competition between guilds, and we’ll get to witness who claims victory in the tug-of-war tournament.
The daytime event kicks off at 12:00 and runs until 16:00. Afterward, the evening continues at YO-talo’s Cellar with Vätköily from 18:00 to 21:30, and from there we move on to Las Palmas!

Tuutoreita tarvitaan sekä suomalaisille että ulkomaalaisille tutkinto-opiskelijoille lukuvuodeksi 2025–2026. Tuutorihaku on auki 9.2.2025 saakka. Hakuajan päätyttyä osa hakijoista kutsutaan haastatteluihin. Haku on auki niin uusille tuutoriksi haluaville kuin vanhoille jo kerran tai useammin tuutoroineille.
Tuutorina pääset olemaan se, joka johdattelee uudet opiskelijat opiskelijaelämään LUTissa. LUTissa aloittaa vuosittain yli tuhat opiskelijaa ja tuutorit ovat tärkeässä asemassa, jotta heidät saadaan osaksi opiskelijayhteisöämme. Jos olet kiinnostunut auttamaan ja ohjaamaan muita sekä haluat päästä kokemaan opintojen aloituksen tuutorin roolissa, laita meille hakemus!
LUT tuutorit saavat 3 op vertaistuutorointikurssin suorittamisesta sekä tuutoroinnista maksetaan rahallinen korvaus.

Tutors are needed for both Finnish degree students and international degree students for the academic year 2025–2026. The tutor application period is open until February 9, 2025. After the application period, some applicants will be invited for interviews. The application is open to both new prospective tutors and those who have been tutors once or multiple times before.
As a tutor, you will have the opportunity to guide new students into student life at LUT. LUT welcomes over a thousand students annually, and tutors play a crucial role in integrating them into our student community. If you are interested in helping and guiding others and want to experience the beginning of studies in the role of a tutor, submit your application to us!
LUT tutors receive 3 ECTS credits for completing a peer tutoring course, and financial compensation is provided for tutoring.
Regarding the tutor application, a tutor application info session will be held on Tuesday, February 4, starting at 14:00 in room 7334.

Hello future Visma Summer Trainee! 👋
Visma Summer Trainee is a summer job program for students within the fields of marketing, sales, software development and design. We offer trainee positions in many of our Visma companies, however you will all be part of the same program and get to know each other across company borders. In your daily work, you’ll have the
chance to influence your own progress and set challenging goals together with your team and team lead.
The official language of the trainee program is English, though some positions require fluency in Finnish. The paid traineeship runs from mid-May until mid-August starting with onboarding days in Helsinki!
