Ma 31.8. Beach Party + jatkot

Jo perinteeksi muodostunut Beach Party palaa jälleen! Tule nauttimaan loppukesän auringosta sekä hyvästä menosta. Päivän kohokohdat muodostavat kiltabeach sekä tuutoreiden uittaminen.

Fuksit: varautukaa uima-asulla sekä pyyhkeellä. Saatte kunnian johdattaa oman tuutorinne saimaan aaltoihin. Muistakaa, että vettä ei voi ikinä heittää liikaa!

Tuutorit: hyväksykää kohtalonne ja pitäkää arvotavarat kaukana haalareiden taskuista. Emme lähde onkimaan niitä Saimaan pohjasta.

Jatkot ovat hyvien bileiden merkki. Pulikoinnin jälkeen onkin aika vaihtaa kuivat vaatteet (tai älä), ja suunnata kohti keskustaa ja Las Palmasia. Tämä pakettimatka sisältää bussikuljetukset suoraan lomakohteeseen, joten palmujen alle pääsee vaivattomasti linjan 5 pysäkeiltä.

Mon 31^st : Beach Party + After Party
Beach Party is back again! Come an enjoy the summer sun and good vibes. The highlights of the day are the guild beach volley tournament and carrying your tutors to the lake.

Freshers: prepare with a bathing suit and a towel. You’ll have the honor of carrying your tutor to the embrace of Lake Saimaa. Remember, that you can never splash enough water!

Tutors: Accept your fate, and keep your valuables away from your overall pockets. We will not be diving them away from the bottom of the lake.

An afterparty is a sign of a good event. After some swimming it’s time to put on a dry set of clothes and head towards the citycenter and Las Palmas. This all-inclusive trip includes the bus transportation to the destination, so you can get under the palm trees easily from the bus number 5 stops.

Welcome to the world of sitz, new kuutti!

You might have heard rumors about songbooks and crazy energy, but now it’s time to see it for yourself! Academic sitz parties bring together everyone’s favorite things: food, drinks, singing, and new connections! Kuuttari sitz is the absolute best place for a freshman to learn the secrets of the sitz culture and meet new people!

This time, there are no limits to your imagination because the theme is ARI! Whether you are a wild rockstar (rokkARI), a strict police officer (pollARI), an agile soccer player (futARI), or your very own creative kuuttARI, only your creativity is the limit. The best and most inventive costume of the night will be rewarded!

From the sitz, the journey continues straight to the hottest afterparty of the autumn, hosted by none other than Lappeenrannan haalaribileet and direct buses will take us straight to the venue! Please note that the afterparty ticket is not included in the price of the sitzticket and must be purchased separately!

The first sitz of the autumn is waiting. Do you dare to step into an unforgettable night and one of the best freshman events?

1.9. Vierula & Chill

Fuksiviikkojen kiireiden keskellä on myös tärkeää levätä! Siispä kerää ystäväsi ja suuntaa kohti Vierulaa! 

Tapahtumassa on mahdollisuus saunoa, uida sekä nauttia erilaisista herkuista. Huhujen mukaan paikalla on myös Kylli, mukanaan kaikkien himoitsemia ekonomilaseja. Tuunaa omasi, jotta erotut joukosta (tai löydät ne helpommin Palmasin tanssilattialta).

Tapahtumasta on myös oiva mahdollisuus siirtyä kohti ylioppilastaloa tavoittelemaan haluttuja NESU-Enklaavin fuksisitsien lippuja. Fuksisitsien lippujen jonotus on vanha perinne, niin kuin tehtiin vanhoina hyvinä aikoina. Fuksisitseille on rajallinen määrä lippuja, joten ole ajoissa paikalla! In the midst of the fresher weeks it’s very important to rest! So, take your friends with you and head towards Vierula!

In the event there is a possibility to go to a sauna, swim and enjoy snacks. According to rumors, Kylli will also be present, bringing along with her the coveted ekonomi shades. Decorate your own shades so that you’ll stand out (or so you’ll find them better from the Las Palmas dance floor)

From Vierula, you can move on to the student union house lobby to queue for the NESU-Enklaavi’s fresher sitz party! This is a long-standing tradition, that freshers queue in person for their tickets, just like during the good old times. There is a limited amount of tickets for this sitz party, so be on time! Ke 2.9.: Fuksisuunnistus

FUKSI! 

On tullut aika kisata heittäytymisessä, ryhmähengessä ja luovuudessa! Fuksisuunnistuksessa pääsette kiertelemään joukkueella kiltojen, kerhojen ja ainejärjestöjen pitämiä rasteja Lappeenrannan ihanassa keskustassa. Luvassa on hauskoja rasteja, joilla rastinpitäjät pisteyttävät joukkueenne suorituksen ja yhteishengen perusteella! Kyseessä on myös hyvä mahdollisuus tutustua erilaisiin vapaa-ajanviettomahdollisuuksiin. 

Parhaiten palkittu joukkue tulee myös saamaan nimensä laattaan, joka kiinnitetään ikuisesti YO-talossa löytyvään kunniatauluun.

Keskustan rastit ovat auki klo 17:00-21:00. Rastipaikat sekä pisteläystäkkeet saatte Satamatorilta klo 17:00 alkaen. Vessoja löydät esimerkiksi kauppakeskus Armadasta ja IsoKristiinasta. 

Temu ry järjestää tapahtuman jatkot. Jatkot alkavat klo 21 Vallassa, jossa soittaa Qlicks klo 23 ja 00:30 ja DJ Igi! Lipunmyynti tapahtumaan alkaa 26.8. klo 12. Lipun hinta on 6€ tai 7€ jos haluat myös haalarimerkin. Tapahtuman jälkeen bussit lähtevät Vallalta klo 2.00 ja 3.00 ja kiertävät 5-linjan reittiä.

Wed 2nd of Sep: Fresher Orienteering

FRESHER! 

The time has come to compete in spontaneity, team spirit, and creativity! In the Fresher Orienteering, you and your team will tour checkpoints run by guilds, clubs, and student organizations in the lovely city center of Lappeenranta. Fun challenges await, where the checkpoint hosts will score your team’s performance and group spirit! This is also a great chance to get to know different ways to spend your free-time in Lappeenranta via organizations. 

The best-performing team will have their name engraved on a plaque, which will be permanently attached to the honor board in the Student Union building.

The checkpoints are open from 17:00 to 21:00. You can collect the checkpoint locations and score sheets from 17:00 at Satamatori. You can find toilets, for example, in the Armada and Iso Kristiina shopping centers.

Temu ry is organizing the afterparty, which starts at 21 at Valta. The band Qlicks will play at 23 and 0:30 and DJ Igi will play as well. The ticket sale will start at 26.8. at 12 pm. The ticket costs either 6€ or 7€ with an overall patch. After the party busses will leave from Valta at 2 am and 3 am and will follow the number 5 route.

Vauhdikkaat orientaatioviikot huipentuvat Fuksiviikkojen päätösbileisiin, jossa bilekansa pääsee nauttimaan livemusiikista, hyvästä seurasta ja tietenkin Skinnarilan hengestä. Nämä bileet eivät jätä ketään kylmäksi, kun lavalle astelevat kaksi artistia sekä huipputaitava DJ, jotka tanssittavat juhlakansaa läpi yön. Tämä tapahtuma on loistava tapa päättää ikimuistoiset orientaatioviikot, joten nappaa oma lippusi ajoissa!

Tapahtuma on ulkotapahtuma, joten huolehdithan säänmukaisesta varustuksesta.

Thur 3rd of Sep : Fresher Weeks Final Party

The orientation weeks will be ended with the Fresher weeks’ final party, where the party people get to enjoy live music, good company and of course, the Skinnarila Spirit. This party won’t leave anybody hanging, because we will see two artists and a super talented DJ, who will make you dance through the night. This event is the best way to end the orientation weeks, so grab your tickets on time!
