Finland’s (or at least Lappeenranta’s) most legendary sledding event, Liugur, is back!

We are taking over the Huhtiniemi hill once again on Wednesday, January 28th, 2026. Pull on your student overalls, a balaclava, and those warm wool socks knitted by grandma – it’s time to enjoy the winter day to the fullest! 🧶🧢

What could be more better after a cold day in the snow than the constant heat of sauna and hot chocolate? Liugur isn’t over yet, it just got hotter ;) To keep the people of Skinnarila warm and cozy there is karaoke, beerpong and sauna, just for you! If you still feel a little cold, just know that the music and dance will take it away. So join us in Yolo’s basement for a cup of hot chocolate or for the heat of the sauna, (with your swimsuit)! 😀

Dig your sleds and sliders out of storage, borrow one from a friend, or pick one up on-site. The main thing is that you show up to enjoy the thrill and great company! 🤩
