Beach party

Saimaa is full of magic, which emanates from the Beach Party held in September! The beach party at Sammonlahti Beach is one of the greatest traditions of the fresher weeks. 

Beach Party tuo mukavasti yhteen kaikki LUT:in killat. Se on siis täydellinen tilaisuus tutustua eri kiltojen opiskelijoihin! Tapahtumassa myös nautitaan musiikista, saunotaan ja pelataan kiltaolympialaisten rantalentis. Lähde rohkeasti pelaamaan tai ainakin kannustamaan Enklaavin joukkue taas kerran voittoon.

However, the highlight of the day is the Saimaa part of the event. One guild at a time, new freshers get to release their aggression towards their tutors by throwing them into the refreshing waters of Saimaa. At the same time, the sacred Saimaa baptizes the freshers to become a part of the shores of Lappeen Ranta.

The tutors also have the honor of carrying the Chair of Enklaavi’s Board and the Fresher Captains into the lake. So come and witness this amazing moment as the lake fills with neon yellow and other stunning colors!
