Committee activities in Enklaavi

Currently, there are eight different committees operating in Enklaavi. These committees work in collaboration with the board, allowing their members to have a close impact on Enklaavi's activities. The committees play an extremely important role in the functioning and development of Enklaavi. The tasks vary according to each committee, aiming to enable more diverse and higher quality activities for the members of Enklaavi. The committee chairs are members of Enklaavi's board, ensuring seamless cooperation.

In 2025, the committees operating under Enklaavi will be the Master's, Corporate Relations, International Affairs, Events, Media, Sport, Festive and Finance Committees.

Mediamafia

Enklaavi's Media Committee

Enklaavi Sport focuses on promoting healthy lifestyles in every way and providing enjoyable, low-threshold activities for all business students in Lappeenranta during their free time. The heart of Enklaavi Sport is a team of enthusiastic and active members who work closely together to plan and organize various events and activities for the members of Enklaavi. Our foundation is to spread positive energy through our activities, which reflects throughout the entire Enklaavi community. The operations of Sport focus on year-round activities, exclusive events, and participation in the organization of other Enklaavi events.

This year the committee consists of Santtu Karhapää, Kalle Nousiainen, Anna Pyykkö, Essi Mäntynen, Matias Mikkola and Mikaela Pekkarinen.

The Media Committee focuses on shaping Enklaavi's visual identity and event marketing. As a member, you’ll have the chance to take on diverse tasks like photography, photo editing, video production, marketing major events, or even designing overall patches! The Media Committee is the best because it allows you to express yourself creatively, especially through your visual skills, while leaving your personal touch on the organization’s activities!

This year the committee consists of Siiri Pallanza Lundén, Oona Koivisto, Viivi Kämäräinen, Veera Jukarainen, Moona Heikkilä and Fanni-Lotta Kokko.

Corporate

Enklaavi's Corporate Relations Committee

Eventti is responsible for most of our guilds events. The biggest events we organize annually include Liugur, Marathon Monday, and the Overall Parties. Our goal is to create and organize diverse and unforgettable events for Enklaavi's members. This year's Eventti includes 9 awesome committee members, and it's lead by our Head of Projects and Head of Events. Eventti is the best committee because here everyone is able to make their ideas come true, create amazing events and of course get to know other amazing people!

This year the committee includes Onni Mäkäläinen, Aamos Lundgren, Elias Rögård, Juhani Jussila, Lauri Rautiainen, Otto Rantanen, Kasper Paakasuo, Aino Saarinen, Aino Bordi, Greta Odendahl and Deb Jauty Paul.

In Enklaavi Corporate we make deals, establish sponsorships and advocate for the benefit of all Enklaavi members in preparation for working life. The committee works hard because it is extremely important to all of us that every Enklaavi member has the opportunity to learn, improve themselves and succeed professionally. Without the sponsorship deals we secure, many of our amazing events would not be possible! Our committee is the best because without us there wouldn't be event sponsors, for example!

This year the committee includes Amanda Mykrä, Aliisa Rekola, Juho Vahter, Mira Liimatainen ja Roope Luoma.

Enklaavi Finance

Enklaavi's Finance Committee

Enklaavi
Mastermind

Enklaavi's Master Committee

Enklaavi Finance is responsible for managing our student organization's finances, ensuring accurate bookkeeping and smooth payment transactions. Led by the Head of Finance, our team consists of three members this year, each with their own areas of responsibility, working together to handle the financial arrangements for events. Additionally, we are developing the operations and brand of the newly established Enklaavi Finance.

Enklaavi Finance provides hands-on experience in financial management tasks, equipping business students with valuable skills for their careers. Throughout the year, we all receive comprehensive training and gain diverse experience in managing the organization's financial activities, which is particularly beneficial when applying for summer jobs.

This year the committee consists of Joonas Sainio, Mira Lommi, Okko Pauri ja Patrycja Stefaniak.

The Master's Committee is a three-person team that, under the guidance of the Vice Chair, organizes events for Enklaavi's master's students as well as students interested in master's-level activities. This is also reflected in the name of our committee: Enklaavi Mastermind. Our goal is to create events that resonate with master's students, offering opportunities to connect with fellow master's students, reflect on future career paths, and build professional networks. The Master's Committee is the best committee because it allows you to be part of a wide variety of event concepts. You also have the chance to create and develop events based on your own ideas and the insights of our members!

This year the committee includes Carl-Emil Hirvikoski, Leevi Pyysing, Annika Honkanen ja Heidi Myllymäki.

Enklaavi Ballers

Enklaavi's Festive Committee

International Committee

Enklaavi's International Committee

The mission of the Festive Committee, also known as Enklaavi Ballers, is to create unforgettable parties and events for Enklaavi. In addition to the traditional annual ball and the annual ball sillis, we are responsible for events like the Enklaavi Gala and the May Day brunch ”Wappusillis”. Enklaavi Ballers are excited to organize multiple events throughout the year for Enklaavi members. What makes our committee the best is that without us, there would be no sillis or traditional annual ball festivities!

This year the committee includes Helmi Kahri, Hilla Hautakangas, Sonja Seilo, Vili Väisänen, Aria Käpynen ja Kaapo Saariaho.

The International Committee plans and implements the guild's international activities together with the Vice Chair, for example, by organizing events in English for the guild's international students and ensuring their voices are heard in the decision-making processes of the student organization. Members of the International Committee are always approachable for discussing any issues related to international matters, which will then be addressed and developed further.

This year the committee includes Carl-Emil Hirvikoski, Kata Savolainen, Antonia Rosca ja Deb Jauty Paul.
